Module 1: Examine key data concepts.
Attendees will learn the basics of database concepts in a cloud environment, gain fundamental knowledge in cloud data services, and build their foundational knowledge of cloud data services in Microsoft Azure. Students will identify and describe core data concepts such as relational, non-relational, Big Data, and analytics and explore how to implement this technology in Microsoft Azure. Students will learn about roles, tasks, and responsibilities in the data world.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of database concepts in a cloud environment, gain basic knowledge in cloud data services, and build their foundational knowledge of cloud data services in Microsoft Azure. Students will explore relational data offerings, deploy and use relational databases, and query relational data via cloud data solutions using Azure.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of database concepts in a cloud environment, gain basic knowledge in cloud data services, and build their foundational knowledge of cloud data services in Azure. Participants will explore non-relational data offerings, deploy and use non-relational databases as well as non-relational data stores for Microsoft Azure.

Module 4: Explore modern data warehouse analytics in Azure.
Students will learn the fundamentals of database concepts in a cloud environment, gain basic knowledge in cloud data services, and build their foundational knowledge of cloud data services in Azure. Students will learn about the processing options available to create data analytics solutions in Azure. Participants will learn about Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure HDInsight. Participants will learn what Power BI is, including its building blocks and how they work together.
