Description

Learn how to effectively apply proven requirements engineering techniques in agile product development. A strong focus of the Agile Requirements Engineering course is the integration of these techniques into the typical workflow of a Scrum team. It also addresses the management of roadmaps for complex products in the context of scaling frameworks such as Nexus and SAFe.

The 3-day training teaches the basics of requirements engineering in an agile context:
• Agile Manifesto
• Scrum Framework
• Product Owner as Agile Requirements Manager
• Product Vision
• Story Mapping & Release Planning
• Product Backlog Management
• Value Driven Development
• Scaling Approaches
The knowledge and skills acquired here will enable you as a product owner to successfully manage the functional and non-functional requirements of your stakeholders. You will be able to identify requirements and specify them step by step as needed - from rough goals to epics to user stories ready for implementation. You will learn how an agile team estimates effort, how to prioritize a product backlog, and how to scale agile requirements engineering for large, possibly distributed projects.
This hands-on training picks up many contents of the IREB® Advanced Level RE@Agile and is therefore also a good basis for the 3-day IREB® training that prepares for the Advanced Level RE@Agile certification exam.
