We use for performing live online courses and workshops Skype for business (formerly Lync).

There is no need to install Skype for Business in addition!

If youre already a Skype for business users, you can have the right foundations. To exclude that connection problems occur (E.g. through a corporate firewall), the test must be but still carried out.

To ensure all functionalities in your course/workshop, conduct please the system test, ideally with an Internet Explorer.

  1. Run as first Skype for business using this link in the browser. Connection problems should occur with you (E.g. the Conference room can not be entered), the alternative link please use.

  2. If you will be prompted for a login, login please as a guest.
  3. Please follow the on-screen instructions. For your greatest training success, we want to ensure that Skype for business works on your computer. We review the screen sharing as well as your audio output.
  4. If everything works, the test can be ended by leaving the Skype for Business conference.
  5. Later to take part in the course, go to your learning scope and start the course from there.
